Ok if i understand this right every year there is National's and World's for MWDA (though last year was the first year) MY q is this to the people, What units do you think will be very common at worlds/the top 10 of worlds? i think the Following
Besides the Uber arty or Charge mongers or Uber VTOLS to be seen in Counter Assault. i think we will see lots of
DF DI Schmitt tanks (they never go out of style)
Arnis's (Agility Evade and a high enough def to Make him hard to his with ranged!!!!!)
SS DI Towed AA ARTY (3 Damage AP (3 pogs) cheap! Even if the new arty rules go into effect you can still hit 3 Different targets for 1)
DF Donar (10 attack, 10 range You can move in from 14, 4 inches and shoot then move back to 14)
BR Lego....the Original Charge Monster i think we will still see a few of hem
DF SM1, CHEAP 10 attack 4 damage AP.
Fashi's of all kinds (to keep things in place)
and peasants every one of the top 8(or was it 10?) at worlds last year i think had some number of Presents.:) please post your thoughts or any units i missed.

Too early to tell. We'll need to see what is going to traspire with the poposed rules. Which, I think, will probably get the thumbs up around the time of CA release. If that happens, you'll see more things with command. The BR Sprint and the DF Hauberk will probably find its way into alot of armies. Mason Dunne could even see competitve play. Pairing him up with a SprintDrop for the posibility for 2 extra commands could be interesting. of course, we'll have to see what type of untis we se in the next set. If there's a marked increase in the amount of agility for Mechs on the next set or more Evade/Agility combos we could see less of Arnis.

Hmmm i have not read the rules over a lot just Skimmed over them, AND WOW my BR Mobile HQ might actually see use? :)

I think DF Maxims will be present if there are Schmitts to be seen. Kenneth Medchelke is still powerful, and we might see some infantry drops as well. SS Towed Autocannon anyone?

SS Towed AC's are NASTY >_> and i do not think we will see The DF Shmit tank go away until there is an 11 IT Tank with a 14+ Range.

i bet the SW padilla will be outa there

Well Kennith and the SW paddilia will alawys Be popular, Just Move then push your Paddilia :) You can hit 2 Targets for 2 Damage. Same with the BR Sniper :) I think we will see less Thumpers and DI Towed AA arty's (they will still be there just less Numerous)

As for HQ's, I think the only ones used will be the RotS, HL and SC ones. The others are all far too fragile.

With 450-point matches, fatties, like Eriabee Childs and Jonah Levin, as well as One-Eye and Erin might be back in style, as well.

If the proposed rules go through by themselves: Dual Dashers, units with command, Kenneth Medchelke, SW Padilla, SS DI Towed AA (still potent in the new rules, just not game breaking), SH DI Towed (inexpensive, and those Dashers don't have armor), Merc Snipers, High defense/Agility 'Mechs (to combat the super banzai chargemonkeys).

If they also fix charge, the above list gets much longer.

Well I think we'll see some... oh wait... can't talk about that one... OK, possibly... drat... can't mention that one either... stupid NDA...

Seriously, it all hinges on the changes that WK makes to the rules. As they stand right now, I'll be taking VTOL swarm with some arty. If they only make the proposed changes, It will be VTOL swarm with more arty, command and AA (This is truly brutal...).

Well Reacently i saw the top 8 or 10 i think worlds army's im preety sure only 1 did not have Pesants >_> Who knows what it will be like this year but i bet someone has arnis.

I hope to see any of the Arbalests, would be nice ta still see the lil mech that made it into many armies this past worlds tourney.
