Basically this battle would play out like this: Mad Cat fires on Iron Giant, Iron Giant shrugs of damage, walks over to Mad Cat and begins to eat it, stopping only to spit out the pilot. The end.

If you haven't seen this movie (The Iron Giant), you should. It is one of the best animated movies (or any movie, for that matter) around.

or the iron giant could just fry the mad cat with its huge array of lasers...and then eat it

Not to mention, I have never seen any of MY 'Mechs do that "pull together from across the entire planet" self-repair trick. That would be nasty to deal with. :p

Excellent movie, I have it on DVD....didnt realize until later that Vin Diesel does the voice of the giant. I belly laugh at the cannon ball scene at the lake.

And I would like to see the Giant DFA an Atlas!!!!!!!
