I love INN. I haven't liked some of the more recent articles (not as many User Comments as before, which were very interesting), but I love just going back and reading about what is going on around Towne.

Well it could mean several things.

1. They're chopping it cause it does indeed cost money and generates no profit (probable).

2. The HPG is going to come back online soon (unlikely).

3. Something is going to replace the INN we have now (unlikely).

I'm pissed. Time to send angry responses.

only time will tell (they could take their HPG offline to remove themselves from the attack list of many factions that want to control a working HPG)

man im bummed. I really liked that system. INN was a cool idea i thought. I really hope it gets replaced by something else. this is only wishful thinking but wouldnt it be cool if they just decided to start a new HPG from. I dont know from achernar or something.

I really hope that the reason for this is fluff, and not because they are trying to cut costs.

well...they better have some sort of equivalent up soon...who knows, maybe they'll shift from towne to somewhere else...

Time to organize a strong reponse thread here and email Wizkids that we LOVED OUR INN. They give us new rules, limit charge, then smack us in the face by taking away some interesting background articles.

Put if it is a cost cutting measure and not fluff I hope they keep the galactic map. That thing helps us keep track of what factions have what planet's. Plus Touring the Stars was informative of what went on from the BT timeline till the present Dark Age timeline.

This sucks. I really enjoyed the INN part of the website. I don't buy that it wasn't profitable. How much could have it possibly cost to post articles to? They already spent the money building that part of the sight. All they had to do is post articles.

First the Swordsworn vent thing(all CA mechs have a 1 vent), now they turn off INN...

I would love a plot shift from towne maybe even make its HPG part of a campaign finally not just a one shot tourney

It doesn't cost that much to have someone write stuff for INN. It's probably the same person or people that make the fluff for the tourneys, dossier cards, etc. In all, it's probably a VERY small part of the whole 'fluff body'.

Keeping a website running is actually very cheap. If they were going to shut down a page to save money, it'd have to be a BIG page to make any difference to someone's pocketbook. They didn't even shut down a whole site, just one tiny bit of one. It's Fluff!

Anybody know the proper artical number for Tourign The Stars XV: The Falcon's Flight? Or have that page saved? I enjoyed that series and for some reason, its coming up wrong.
