I have an option to buy a case of either FFE or DFA for a VERY good price, which one should i buy, my secondary faction dosn't mater becouse i play liao, but i like SH and my primary is HL i was thinking DFA but was wondering what the general concencious is

Dfa would be better. Not only do you get the chance for artillery, like you would with ffe, but you also get VTOLs with DFA.

after looking at the two checklists i am HEAVILY leaning towards the DFA, it also looks like the half case is going to be about 100 CDN :P

I think one of those sets (check realms) is going our of production. I'd be tempted to buy THAT one due to that fact.

Fire For Effect is out of production but I would still buy Death From Above, it is a much better set

Merc Kanazuchi (best little VTOL hunter for 18 points)
Partisan AA (which is surpassed by CA AA units)


FFE

Out of production -- get it while you can.
BR Lego (with new charging rules this is THE monster)
Maxim trsnsports - best cap 3 for tank drop
Infantry - Shock troops, Raiden, Fenrir, SRM teams
Sniper Arty
Repair Vehicles

FFE has the best infantry (IMO) of any of the sets. The 8-attack SRM teams wit a 10-inch range and AP are deadly.
DFA still has good VTOLs, Artillery, and vehicles. The J-37 is one of the best multi-use vehicles in the set -- Cap 3 transport, infiltrator, repair.

Buy both!

I bought the half case of DFA, it was Mediocire, only got two UN's the BLack Knight and the Ocelot, ALOT of ICE, and only 2 VTOL

im gonna have to swing my vote twords dfa because the uniques are good and most of the nons are decent you can get helis in this set along with the j37 good for vehicle transport because they are cheap and can repair what ever they carry
