where the heck are my Elementals? We've had five sets and we haven't seen a staple of the Battletech universe in N-Scale form yet. I greatly appreciate your efforts to bring me my Reseen mechs (love the Rifleman btw), but I think including these in the game would be a real crowd pleaser . If you're going to bring the Emerald Turkeys in the next set, at the very least, please give me my canister-born, Harjel-using, mesomorphic psychos. C'mon, I know you guys are running out of ideas for infantry now...

We've only had 2 clanner oriented factions so far... so who wouldve got the third elemental stand? None of the other factions would have access to the iron wombs and such. But with the Falcons coming out, if theyre going back to green/vet/elite, they could do SW/JF/SC and that would make sense.

Clan Battle Armor are Elementals, so says the fluff in the first Dark Age novel.

I know CBA are Elementals, but I want to see the classic Toad sculpt.

I dont remember reading that in Ghost War. Maybe missed it, I dunno. I would think by the name that CBA would be a normal human scaled suit of kinda-sorta elemental armor. And actual elemental troops wearing actual elemental suits would be called "Elementals" or "Elemental Point" or "Elemental Battle Armor" or something.

I know you won't consider them to be the same, but the Gnome and Salamander BAs are related to the standard Elemental BA. Both are Clan designs and part of the Elemental BA family IIRC.

Yes i want the Falcons as well :)That way i can ditch BR and have all 3 clans as factions..........I would like to see the "Toad battle Armor" Because thats what it is, The Elemental is the pilot not the BA. Give :^^: To SW and SC and :^^^: To the falcons...give the :^: To RS, Now if the falcons do come......they best get a Turkina or a thor.......i mean no other mechs scream Jade Falcon like the thor or turkina........also a non vulture would be nice in the next set...give it to SW, SC, JF and DF

By the way, isn't Clan Battle Armor a BA-design which was specifically designed to be worn by freeborn troopers? Somehow I suspect that the average elemental warrior needs some more personal space than the CBA can offer.

O_O Yes which is why.....their is the Toad BA AKA The Orignoal Elemental :) I would love to see one.....10-12 SPD with JJ, 0-8 BAL 2 Damage Single use AP, (with 2 Normal BAL Damage next click) 8 attack, 18 DEF :) that would make a good JF One.

The CBA was made by the Nova Cats for IS(Combine spacifly) use I think. Could be wrong tho.

Elemental Battle Armor:
-carries either a small laser, an MG, or a flamer
- 1 SRM-2 with 2 reloads, detachable
- 90 meter jumping capability
- 10 points of armor, plus the man inside


Clan Battle Armor:
- 1 fixed flamer
- 2 fixed SRM-2s (no reload, grand total of 4 missiles)
- 120 meter jumping capability
- 9 points of armor, plus one for the trooper inside

The Clan Battle Armor is the Elemental of 3050 era. It was written as such in the small tech readout in the Ghost War Novel. The arguement about the Elemental suits having to be bigger is false also because in the CBT books, one of the Blood of Kerensky books, Kai Allard Liao, who is small in stature, wore an Elemental suit and fought very effectively in it. So I would assume any normal sized person or Clan Elemental sized person would be able to wear CBA's, Gnomes BA's or Salamander BA's.

Today's "CBA" is a cheaper, but less versitle, version of the classic Elemental. They are designed for use by anyone, Trueborn or Freeborn. Elementals in the true sense would have crazy stats.

Elementals? Come on, people...do we really need anything ELSE in this game that can shred Mechs for a fraction of the cost? :rolleyes:
