I'm really ticked that there's another sheild centurion, but at least this one has a gun.

I like the fact that the book spent so much time focusing on Krusty's mech's axe...and then they didn't give him one. In fact, his melee attack is pretty pathetic which is really the only thing that kept him alive through the book.

NOTE: The link to Krusty's mech is broken...it goes to Danai Liao instead. Go to Technical Readouts->CounterAssault instead to find the stats. Pretty mediocre; Crow's mech would lay waste to him.

Well um yes Crow's mech would probally kill him, but lets not forget that Crow costs about 100 points more!

A longbow with only a 20 defense. How dare they give us one with such a low defense. Wait a minute, they already did :)

Evan Kurst: Good energy attack, low defense, TSM, high speed. I'm not sure whether this is "powerful" or "gimped."

Danai Liao Centrella: low defense and damage for her cost, but she has a ranged attack, at least. Actually gets HtH when it's useful (ie, more likely to do more damage than the unmodified attack).

Geof Morgan: low defense + 240 points = capture bait. Next.

Margot Calumet: as far as I can tell, her only saving grace is that she lasts longer than the other Garrots. Otherwise, she sucks.

I have become a big fan of the Liao faction since reading By Temptations and By War. Thus, I am extremely happy to see A 'mech with Evan Kurst's name on it. I was hoping WK would make one. I just wish it had the axe. Oh well... guess I can't be too choosy. As for the Centura (sp?), I think it looks great too and I am looking forward to trying to get both of these.

I play a defensive battle, with defensive pushes, this all depends on high defences, no counterassult unit thus far fits in.
I thought the longbow would fit in, but looking at him, i want to melt him down to make my custom uziel....

Hehheh that Longbow sucks even more than the HL one! Seems that it isn't Melicien's fault that her stats suck but just the Longbow being crappy mech. :p

Not crappy, just suited for a role that isn't often seen in this game.

Yikes. The book only made me hate the trecherous Liao bastards that much more.

As for Krusty's mech, I do believe it has its axe, just doesn't ever get HtH weapon as an SE.
