A Dark Spade post about a 3-d map of the IS got me wondering. Looking straight down on the IS you get a picture of the borders and regions of of the Great Houses, Clans, Periphiaries and so on, which seem fairly striaght-forward. But couldn't something on the map that appears adjacent with each other be as far apart as the enitre width of the Inner Sphere itself?
It would similar to looking at a transparent view of Earth from the side and saying that New York and Tokyo are right next to each other, but in reality it's just the viewer's perspective.
Yeh, yeh I'm getting too caught up on minute details, but after CA's release and the continual rehash of broken rules and cheese units, I thought I'd change the subject a little.
