I looked but saw no info on it.

GAMA will most likely be in March around the time of St. Patrick's day I believe in Las Vegas.

But don't get too excited about trying to attend, it's not open to everybody. It's a special event for retailers to get a look at the up coming year of gaming products. So unless you own a store, or are an employee of a store who has signed you up as its representative, you're not getting in.

GAMA (The Game Manufacturers Association is an international non-profit trade association serving the adventure games industry)

Each year they sponsor a trade show in march in Las Vegas.

It is "industry only" i.e. open to retaillers (store owners/managers) distributors and manufacturers

This years show (GTS) is March 15-18, 2004

ok thanks a bunch! so i guess there will not be any "games" going on, wonder what they do for 3 full days.

Its 4 days.

Day one is primarilly seminars -
store layout and display, accounting, leases, customs,
point of sale, web sites, also discussion groups,
what do the retaillers want from the manufacturer/distributor, stuff like that

day 2, 3, and 4 also have some seminars but is primarilly exhibit hall time. The manufacturers are the ones running the booths showing their "next cool product" while the retaillers are the ones walking the aisles saying "thats neat" or "thats awful"

The retaillers also get to try out (read as demo) some of the neat new games

It is a lot of work but also a lot of fun
