Hello, this has been bugging me for some time, and I normally just start threads here, but I would like everyone's official answers here, especially Battlemasters.

How is the winner of a tournament decided?

Is it by number of wins, and then numbers of victory conditions, and then points, or what method is used in your venue, or most often, or is always used.

I would like the official Wizkids answer on this one, and would want Draddog to also post to this thread if possible.

The official ruling is based on the total number of VC's that you have won during the tourney.

If there is a tie, it goes to who has won more VC 2's. If a tie, then it is compared by the total of VC2 points scored. If a tie, you roll off.

So, you have it going by total number of victory conditions in all rounds. Therefore, someone could lose the first round, with only one victory condition, and win the second two? That would win?

Wins are determined in this order under tornament legal games.

First by Number of wins
Then by VC's
Then by VC2
Then VC1
Then VC3
then by a die roll if I'm not mistaken (never saw that happen)

Any BM that determines the winner differently is not running the rules properly, and needs to take a refresher course on the rules for this game. It is a real slap in the face to MW players when the BM's don't know the rules.
