I went to check the mail today, and there was a box from Wizkids. It had Rick Raisho in it, an LE Centurion. I never sent away or bought it, and it was just in my mailbox. Is there some new program or something where WK sends LEs to people? I think it is pretty awesome if there is, and it is interesting, because I read on ebay that this was a convention-only 'Mech, and I saw one going for 80$+, and another for 50$. Does anyone know what this program is, or how it works, where WK sends free figures? It is a good program, and nice of WK to do that.

Someone got Rick Raisho in the mail at my venue and traded it to me for the SC Counter Assault Thunderbolt! That was pretty cool, but he did have two.

Yep that’s a great program. Hope it escapes the bean counters who have been slashing prize support lately.

IMHO, the program goes hand in hand with reduced prize support at venues. Wizkids may have gotten tored of the same folks winning all of the events an not giving some newer players a chance at the LE figures. This lets the new guys get some cool stuff, too. BTW - I got Ion Murphy from this program and had the same reaction when I opened my mailbox that day.

Congrats! Ric, I would have to say, is probably the best LE for the Republic for the cost.

Unless charge is nerfed again this is hardly the case. By far the best ROT mech IMHO is Yuri. 23 defense with hardened and 11 attack for a mere 185 points is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

I would like to say its great to hear there are 500 more Rics out there. makes me feel all swell inside considering I paid $50 for mine, and once these glut the market i can pick up a second for $10.

I personally find it great that the rewards are actualyl decent units like this. I will never get one, due to my BM status, but so it goes :)

I think Mason Dunne is still the most useful ROTS LE. Pretty cheap, too.

Whether he's the best LE for the points for ROTS or not (which i don't think he is), he is cool to get. I paid 70 for mine, but who could know Wizkids would send him out for players rewards? Also, i'm an envoy (for HeroClix) so i wouldn't be able to get him without paying anyway. I don't regret getting mine the way i did.

The irony is I've watched three BMs open their 'reward packs' Kristoff Erbe... heard also at least one BM got Ric as part of his pack, previously.

I'm also thankful that more Rics are in the market now, helping make the unit common enough that an 'average' person may not only see one, but be able to get it from something affordable.

Well, i personnaly think he is worth the points. He keeps his armor longer then Mason Dune.. basically it comes down to who hits first and at what range. Get with in 5 inches Mason's fire power is equal to Ric. With the new Charge Rules, dont think you will be seeing Mason raming to often or any other big mech.

EIther way, Ric is a solid piece and I got him cheap. Wooping 40 dollars because the guy spelt it wrong on E-Bay.

Plus what is interesting is that Ric brought in more money on E-Bay then Mason did. Right now he goes for on the average between 53 and 88 dollars. When he first hit the Ebay world Saw him going for over 140 dollars.. as far as I recall Mason never got that high.
