Is it just me, or does the next scenario, 'Smorgasbord', seem to promote cheese?
Don't know what I mean? Since there is only a single VC, where each player must have more units in base with a terrain piece than your opponent, I can already predict the armies with all infiltrating infantry that will gain a quick victory by simply surrounding the building.
It seems that this may become a mission where the victor will be determined by who goes first.
My solution is to simply make the victory condition as per normal rules, except that players may only recieve VC 3 points by basing the center terrain piece, instead of the other's deployment zone.
I really hope WK decide to alter the scenario in any way to promote less cheese.
I made up an army for it (heavy on infiltrate units), then realized my venue is running it at the same time as the Superbowl. And even though I could care less who wins that game, somehow it's more appealing than Smorgasbord.

Who infiltrates first, whats on second, i don't knows on third. Don't complain, it means you are a shoddy player. At least the battle will be fast. Just roll the die and hope you go second.
It does seem like some of these scenarios are penned on some toliet paper just prior to using it. One thing is certain, the scenario will go forward no matter how insane it is. I forsee rings of trikes, pushing around the building until death bring victory.
Given WK's lust for cheese, they must be owned by Kraft. The Topps thing is just a ruse.

You mean I am a poor player because I can't control what my dice roll? Oh yes, that makes sence.

I am still struggling with the logic myself. The way I understand it, if you find fault with something then its because you are too dumb to find a work around. At least thats what I'm told.
I would suggest trying loaded dice. That way you can control your die rolls. Just don't get caught. The tar is hot and the feathers are annoying.
Wizkids already changed the scenario, perhaps actually noticing the general discontent. Check out their webpage.

Victory Conditions: Use standard MechWarrior: Dark Age Victory Conditions 1 and 2 in addition to Victory Condition 3 points, as indicated above.

He's a bannson's player. He thrives on going first, and if he makes an army that might work for him if he goes 2nd he'll be spanked before he walks onto the field. Although it is a funny idea... a bannson's army concentrating on taking out infantry. The construction mech mod-b is almost as #!@%^ as the HL legionnaire, and unless someone tells me of another Bannson's unit good for taking out infantry I choose to be ignorant to such matters.
