I think I read on the Comstar ROM site that one of the books was going to have the Jade Falcons attacking the Steel Wolves.

Just found the link.

Flight of the Falcon is the supposed title of the book to come out in June.

Most likely prey will be Steel Wolves that pretend being WiE and Jade Falcons hate WiE more than anything.

They are all jealous, because they see that we are having fun, and like some envious brother have to do it as well. Is it quite pathetic really.

At least we will have a new item on our menu; chicken.

Just from the looks of it (while not an expert on CBT mechs I don't recall a Gyrfalcon anyplace and the 3110's comment suggests it's a new-to-DA one) it appears to be a light or fast medium design. Perhaps a low end heavy, but being called a scout, even a tough one, suggests medium or smaller. Also, a heavy mech could support Alpha Strike as non-SU equipment. Don't count on a high defense or deep dial; I'm guessing a cheaper, unarmored Ezekiel Crow-type mech (overpowered light mech).

Quite interesting. I hope to go to Origins so maybe I can get one and find out.

We falcons will feast at entrals of the those rust puppies and Rebuplic will also fall before us. No one has changes against might of the Clan Jade Falcon! Both false clans are on our menu.

4 vent heat dial ewww. 4 click dial with a 4 vent hmm has some potential. Falcon's Rising is late 2004 which means its not the next set but the one after.

Actually there should be only two expansions at this year and CA was first one. Nest set will be JF expansion but there is no need to wait it so fast, it comes out when it comes out.

I think by them saying scout they did not mean that the mech design was scout. or that the mechs role in a battle is that of a scout.
They are just saying it is a scout for the invasion force. By saying it is scout for the invasion force is giving a fluffwise reason so that it can be in tournement play before the release of the main force.
