Sad to see people leaving MW, but a good buy none the less. Especially when you get Drexel in there, people like me had to fight hard to get her but you got her practically on clearance :)

This speaks volumes about what retirement is doing to the game. My whole friggin collection would have costed over $1000 before this, and seeing something like this I guess it will be about $50-$100. Thanks WizKids, nice to see you basically steal $900 from me (that much would hurt anybody, but considering I'm 17 and can only work for low-wage jobs it really makes me cringe). I knew I should put my money into my truck instead...

Actually, this guy had his collection on the market well over a month before the announcement of set retirement, and had been asking 30$ the entire time. =P Just happened to be that I was the first to meet his offer.

I don't recall WizKids saying anything about a guaranteed secondary market value on any of their figures BlackFusion. If you're worried about money and need an investment, go to a financial advisor, not your local comic and game store.

I hate to sound unsympathetic, but I've seen the same sort of talk from people who've "Lost" money on comics, sports cards, action figures, Pokemon and now YuGiOh. Buy stocks and bonds if you want a solid investment... buy toys for fun. It makes me sad to see how many people's enjoyment of Mechwarrior is linked directly to the eBay value of their collection.
