Hi, I'm brand new to this game, I haven't even played yet. I know I joined a while back but thats because I thought I was gonna play but I couldn't afford it, well know I can. Well I was wondering if someone could tell me like what pieces are good for the game and which are just horrible, and could ya tell me a little bit about the pieces I have? Like if there good and stuff, well here what I have:

LE Rikkard Nova Cat

Id start buying some packs. Thats all I can say. Rikkards decent, but Id buy more. Just put a post in the trade thread and someone will sell you some good pieces.

just pick a faction that you like and try to collect as many peices from that faction as you can. that way you always have a good collection to choose from to build an army. Mostof the factions are big enough that you can get a good variety of units to play with. try to get a lot of infantry and a couple transports as well as an artillery peice. Then you should be ready.

Is the Spirit Cats good?

If so, I'll pry go with that.

You first want to figure out what faction you like playing, if you like a certain faction I highly suggest buying blocks of that faction on ebay. You'll save so much time and money in the long run, and you won't have the frustration of not getting a unique in your boosters.

What I'd suggest doing is play in the sealed games, and complement those purchases with some ebay ones of your favorite factions.

yeah they are good with mechs and infantry. however they lack really good artillery and only have one good vtol in the form of the donar. they also do not have any 3 capacity transports so you would neeed to use another factions if you want to move your infantry faster.

you need a good tank and a tranport and thats a good tank drop sometimes their better than mechs.

You've got to buy some packs dude all i have to say but dont worry the new sets even everything out if you like Spirit Cats well the nets sets are really good for you especially the CA SC suncobra!!!!

If you will be playing SC the best non mech's you can get are.

Blackhawk
DfA
Locust
Counterassault set
Sun Cobra
Shockwave

Thats it if I were you I would only bother getting those mech's every other SC non blows

The Elite SM1 tank destroyer for DF is good,but it is better if it is added to my collection. ^_^

What infantry you got?

You sould find a store you can play at and make some new friends. People will be more patient w/ your learning to play if they know you, plus you will make a lot of good trades. Also, the more you play the more you will learn. Not only will you begin to understand more of the complicated rules but you will learn new strategy ideas. It worked for me :-)

Uh dude, DF doesnt have the elite SM1, either SSw or SH do, depending on the set, and some advice to you wwerocks. Get some booster packs and tell us what you got, PM me about that hellboy you wanted too once you get some Dragons Fury stuff. SC is a good team, so is Swordsworn, their stuff is a little harder to get and their mechs suck but awesome tanks.

A mercenary Zahn (a green unit so it's relatively easy to find) would be a great transport that can hold 3 infantry if you want to play Spirit Cats.
