My guess baout the DF LE Hauberks is that it was a mistake that wasn't significantly game changing, people LIKE it the way it is, and practically everyone would complain if it was changed, with very few being positive about it. So it's not worth their while to change it.
A VTOL with permanent repair-anything and a hovertank that could do 10 damage Pulse are much more eggregious errors. If WizKids DIDN'T change those they'd never hear the end of the complaints.
Aww, they should have changed Repair SE so that the VTOL could repair cruising VTOLS (even though they can't technically be in base contact.) Then we could have fixed the VTOLS that get stuck in midair with no movement points.
"Oh, crud! We lost most of our main rotor and I guess we're doomed to forever defy gravity." "Never fear! We have the Incredible Dan on our team, who can change a rotor IN FLIGHT!"
I always see people complain about the FAQ just containing minor changes. Are Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) documents supposed to radically change the game by introducing a bunch of new rules?
Is it me, or have all these unit corrections shifted the balance of "being shafted" power from the Highlanders to the Swordsworn? First the Arrow IVs and now this? :)
