By the beginning of 3134, the HPG has been down for almost a year and a half, with no end in site. Clan Jade Falcon, laden under the sudden growing pressures from its warriors to cast of the chains of peace enforced upon them by their civilian populations, looks towards The Republic. Well O_o no Retirment yet, And cool i guess it will be like Bounty Hunter but many different ones? Prehaps they will have a string of LE's like the Rumored SS Templar you can pull like a UN. I just wish we got more unit info oh well <_< Good job WK i just hope the odd's of getting a dropship are better than the lottery.
Sneak Peek begins around June 23rd, Wonder how they'll start the new peeks? No official mention to who is appearing or not. But still good news about the set retirment.
Can you now tell us anything more about the details of the previously announced "new tactical options with the addition of new faction abilities like Merciless and Enhanced Imaging, and special equipment like Full Strike and Homing Beacon. " ??
When will we start seeing sneak previews?
Are the grey based mechs the same sculpts/dials as some of the other mechs in the set (simple variations for the collectors), or are they units with different stats?
I stand corrected concerning the gray based LE figures. However, are they going to be totally different figures than what we have seen? Will they simply be remakes of old figures? Are they going to be just 'special' uniques, and they will also have a black based varient from the same set (i.e there will be two UN Gyrfalcons, one gray and one black based)? Hopefully, will they be twenty, totally unseen LE 'Mechs (So the total of UN 'Mechs will tower over any other set's UN count)? That'd be great, rare UNs that you can only get by being lucky...also, did anyone notice that no sets are banned yet? Or did they say they're planning on banning AFTER FP?
cavingjan. They are just making it a standard annoucement most likely. From now on every time a set is released they will probably follow it with a notice/reminder of what sets are legal for tournament play.
Right now no retirement is taking place because FP is not a base set. It's pretty much confirmed that the next set after FP will indeed be a base set and at that point retirement will go in to effect. So if you figure that FP comes out in August and each set will be produced 3-5 months from the previous that means set retirement will commence in about 9 months from now.
