For those that were wondering, the Storm Raider is not an ICE mech. It is a full battlemech, and it has no lance information.

Nice prize pack for this month: the Storm Raider, Krystyn Shon and (my 3rd) Shin Yoshida.

Ok, that answers the question that I asked on the ROM forum. My prize pack included Kristal Shon and the SS Griffin (no roster either). The other Battlemaster in town got the same Griffin and he got his second Shin Yoshida (I have gotten two as well).

So...I'll pose the question. What new FP 'Mech did you get, Battlemasters?

They're probably giving the same ones to every BM...

Level 5 - Storm Raider
Level 6 - Cyclops

Still I would like to know if the Storm Raider is related to the Raider and the Raider Mk.II. Those Raiders were attempts to create a new production line of BattleMechs, but scarcity of fusion engines resulted in mounting ICEs in those 'Mechs. The Storm Raider might be the result of having freshly manufactured fusion plants available. It does have a handheld autocannon which looks like a heavier brother from the autocannon carried by the Raider Mk.II.

Oh wow, I am SO glad that the Storm Raider is fusion. You can't even begin to imagine...

Well, I guess this is what we get from 3rd-party manufacturers are putting together battlemechs after generations of peace ^^

Okay, okay...you convinced me to drag my lazy butt down the 7 floors to my car and get the dossier. It's posted over on the Dossier thread.

After having read the dossier in the dossier-thread, it looks like it's the Storm Raider that influenced the designs of the Raider and Raider Mk.II, not the other way around. Since that Storm Raider was serving in the Bannson's Raiders before it was captured by the Dragon's Fury, it makes sense too.
