In the Canton/Akron OH area I have heard of a venue holding non sanctioned Mech Warrior events and handing out cash prizes.

I have heard that the next one is Jan.

Does any other venue's out there do cash prize events?

I signed up for the Jan. Event and saw that I am the 14th player to sign up.

I can't wait a tournament that is going to have players and players who want to compete and win.

At our venue we usually get together every Saturday to play so if there's no tournament our venue will run a tournament were everyone throws $5 into a pot and the winner gets all but $5 (goes to second place) in the form of gift certificates to the store.

Unfortunately (at same venue) only (and at most) only one person (me) shows up for the said event types. If lucky there will be two players.

The rest are just dont care enough to support the venue, which is a bit sad..

from what I know there are almost 15 players ready to play in the cash tournament
