There's a file for dl... MP2...
Seems like that would be Mekpak 2? But nothing on their site indicates this at all, and when you go to dl the patch there's all of this confusing PR1 junk - so basically who knows what's going on.

Does anybody know??

PR1 is the patch MS made for mercs. MP1 and MP2 are expansions that Mektek made for it. Both require PR1 to be installed prior to adding MP1 and MP2

xfracture is correct. and just so ya know, MP2.1 is now out. fixes a few things.

MP2 came out? Since when?

Wow i just downloaded it.. its a whole new game..

It has pulse lasers that actually work like pulse lasers, plasma cannons, of course all the new mechs..ANNIHILATOR!!!

the dasher goes so fast you cant even see where youre going (its got like 180 max speed and goes 220 down hill)

I was kind of let down with the original mechpack because most of the new weapons were useless and just fun or novelty but in pack 2 you actually see people using them in the multiplayer

the coolant packs totally change the use of lasers, you can group a coolant pack with your lasers so that every 2 or 3 shots you automatically get your heat flushed !! download it !!

People were complaining about stuff, so there are some more updates with 2.1a. The Long Tom blast radius reduced, Gargoyle assault mech (Man 0 War) can run like 110 kph.

The fixed some things and made some other tweaks. Other things suck really bad now, like Canis gun rax r really easy to shoot off.

The mechpacks are just plain awesome...

The mechs are cool, weapons are cool, a few new cool skins...

the Rocket Launcher is awesome (try it out with unlimited ammo on ;) )

i dled the 2nd one the day it came out... i wonder when the next one will come out and what it will have...
