Howdy All...i got a ? for ya.

Now say if i have Trovic Nilloba right...i my heat dial is on the green and i want to make an Assault Order.. Now for the Assault Order i will take a click of heat after the order but....when im doing my Alpha strike, say if i use all 4 clicks and i shut down from it. what happens to that click of heat from the Assault or say Push?

You turn your dial during the order. After the order you take heat for the push and the Assault Order. Since your 'Mech is already shut down then that means you take no heat.

Nothing. You use up your whole heat dial for the alpha strike, and you take no more heat when you hit the 3 rad symbols. So obviously a good tactic is to move, then push and AO to alpha strike.

Technically, it has to be cleared out.

Which heat effect comes first? The push? or the Alpha strike? It matters a lot because you have to count the number of clicks remaining until shutdown.

Personally, since you make the move (push) order first before the alpha-strike attack, it make sense to me that you have to apply the push heat effect first before counting the remaining clicks for alpha-strike.

That's is just my worhtless 2 cents anyway.

No, you give heat effects at the end of the order, like Kotch said. You would click down the heat dial from the alpha strike during the order, then at the and of the order you would apply heat for pushing/assault. But because you're already at the end, then no more heat.
Here's a fun twist- end in water. Then, at the end of the *turn* you would apply a click of cooling and possibly start back up.

Actually, that would only apply if you also start in water. ;)

You start and end your turn in water, push for an assault order and alphastrike then get a chance to restart. There are a number of optimized alpha strikers out there.
