Best I can tell, if you don't want to buy a 2nd starter kit, you have to chooce between either going to the pre-release, or preordering a starter and 2 boosters and then getting the mail in prowler with pilot card. Any reason doing one of those would be better then the other? Will I be able to get the prowler though a normal booster, but with a silver rather then gold base.

Assuming you have a pre-release close, the chance to win a factory set is a pretty good reason. The Prowler will be available in boosters and as prize support just with a different color base, the stats are the same.

Guess it depends on how good you think you are <G>. Are you good enough to WIN the pre-release? then you get a prowler as part of the set.

that's the case for all Pre-Release events.

there's nothing out of the ordinary there, aside from them posting the re-flights info. there has been speculation that boosters would be available at the pre-release events, so the re-flights makes sense.

basically, it's simple. you buy a starter, and bring 150 points of units from falcon's prey. you mix them to create a 450 team that you play. winner and fellowship get the prizes (sets)

the re-flights are simple aod booster events. just like every other sealed tournament, but you use aod units and get boosters for prizes.

now, if only the units in the stupid starters weren't unique, noone would mind doing both. but with the units being unique, there's no point to buying two or more.
