I have Declan Devalis and I want to make an army that has long range and good damage that with hit the opponent hard before they even get to me. Does anybody have any good 450 point team support for Declan? I do not care if it is pure or not. Declan costs 255 so the remaining points are 195 points. Please help. Thanks in advance.

You can't. Artillery will always reach you first. Now, if you want something that can hold people off, keep yourself more mobile, and give you a better chance to win, then there are plenty of builds. But if you want to draw first blood, well, you better reach for some artillery.

And, just a personal opinion, stay faction pure. Even with the generous faction alliances drawn up by WK, fine. But stay faction pure.

i agree, stay faction pure, the long tom is not a bad choice, but be prepared to have it slagged fast, as a player i love crushing arty, and long toms are not known for there survivability, in unristricted i would use SC CBA's in formation, 17 pts each, 10 speed and Jump Jet, Flamers, and a decent attack, a three group gets you an 11 and can withstand a heck of a beating.

I'd take a Merc Fulcrum. High damage, 10 inch range, excellent speed, and IT and decoy.
