I was kind of bored, so I came up with this theoretical spoiler list of the set after Firepower based mostly on the rumors that we've heard.

Feel free to comment on this list, and the reasoning for me including the current factions in the set was to bolster their forces because they have been left out of, somewhat or completely, previous sets. i.e. House Liao.

To the best of my knowledge as a general player of MechWarrior and not as a Battlemaster (WK Envoy), I think that it was stated that House Liao will be left out until Jan06 set. Now if this is the set, I am not pleased or impressed. House Liao has been boned from AoD and the massive use of Decoy for every 'Mech that is out on the field. Armor Piercing has now fallen on the wayside. Again, assuming this is the set of Jan06 release, then House Liao is going to get boned again by the lack of infantry, vehicles, and 'Mechs to replace our extensive arsenal.

If this is not the set where we have our current LI, CA, and FP sets retired from Constuctive Play, I am still not too greatly impressed.

I feel that too many of the newer factions have been left out of your roster, HK for example of one. It just seems that compared to the accuracy level of the others posted on ComstarROM that this one is a tad off. Perhaps, I am incorrect on this, but I hope that I am not.

Remember, this is only some a list I put together out of speculation. It has close to no bearing on reality. This set I suspect would be released around Aug. or Sept. of this year due to the smaller set sizes; with the set that 25% of it going to the winner of the "faction war" being released Jan. 2006(the next large set).

This is speculation on the set after Firepower(the set where House Kurita is released in full force); therefore, since they get a large portion of that set and Clan Nova Cat is being released in this set, and Spirit Cats didn't get any units in Firepower, I left House Kurita out. As far as House Liao being left out of sets until Jan. 2006, I haven't heard that. If you could post a link to a site/thread that states that, I could update the list accordingly and would be much obliged.

Again, this list reflects what I thought and was produced with my limited knowledge of how sets are produced and past trends in MW sets. I can't tell the future and I don't claim to, I just thought it would be interesting to speculate on future sets and see how other people's speculations corresponded to my own.

Liao Still Can use FP units, merc from AOD, FP and also GS unit from all three. Plus Bannson still has a grand alliance with Liao. The SW/SC Alliance will be broken by that set so we are thinking. RD or GB which ever one you like is probably coming in. Plus still guy is wrong he is miss a preview Mech. Which will be CW. Plus I think This the set for Sept/Oct not Janaury.
But beside that he is close. One thing wrong. to What I see Next model it after the FIREPOWER. Where HK/DF gets a ton units because they are the Focus factions. Plus he Has SF in there. The Janaury set will not be Design until July.
We lost interest with last year 2 sets and we will lost Interests with 1 1/2 sets this years. Firepower is a 1/2 set look its got 87 Peices. Does this say something to you.

Only a thing...the Void Battle armor is a Kuritan project "gifted" to the Cats then ,even counting that the WK messing this, at least one between HK,NC or SC have the Void and I think that is VERY difficult that the Liao have one now.

The next expansion after Firepower would focus on Nova Cat and and most probably the "stupendous" (I can't remember the correct adjective :) ) rare preview mech would be a of Rasalhague Dominion.

The above breakdown would be most likely in the expansion after the expansion that followed Firepower which is likely in January'06. And by then, the "stupendous" rare preview mech would be of Clan Wolf (or maybe Clan Wolf in Exile?)

Draddog said that there's not going to be anymore preview mechs after Firepower, as well as LEs disappearing out of boosters. They also said that they would be making smaller sets, with the one that comes out January 2006 being the next full size one.

Thanks for the info concerning the Void. I needed a new battle armor design so I put that one in cause I saw it @IronWindMetals.com. I will adjust the list as soon as I can.

I would also like to see a confirmation that Liao isn't in any sets until 2006 so I can make the changes where appropriate.

I have already beat this area to death in many other places on the forums.

Bannson's Rejects are not worth of my attention due to the fact that (1) I really hate BR and (2) they do not gain House Liao faction abilities.

GunSlingers are nice but unless you plan to devote quite a bit more points to a single unit, these new AoD 'Mechs are are a lack of strength and firepower for the most part than the House Liao units we currently have. This may change with the few units we will receive out of the roster posted at the beginning.

We can use Liao Incursion set, Counter Assault, and Falcon's Prey set pieces until Jan2006, that is when they are retired.

@Shady_Kat_05, I am still looking for either a chat transcript or the article that I noted that info from, plz forgive me on my tardiness to produce what you have asked for.

I have to agree with ya Crakrabbit. Bannsons Crew sucks. Their players I hope are happy but Liao players are not. If I wanted to be a bannsons player I would change my faction affiliation and then start cheering about the cygnus and everything else. But I don't cheer for bannson units because I am a Liao player.

I think SS players should cheer whenever a Stormhammer unit comes out. After all They are real friendly right?

Thanks for trying to look for it. Any information would be appreciated. I'm kinda mad about the Republic absorbing the Highlanders, so I feel your pain. I won't, however, update till sometime this coming weekend due to school work and a full schedule otherwise.
