Every week we'll put up a "sticky" thread like this one so people can review and discuss the current weeks DC comics.
The threads will stay at the top of the DC Comics forum from Wednesday afternoon until the next Wednesday morning, after which time they'll be "unstuck" and return to their chronological spot in the forum, to be replaced by the current week's thread. Each thread will be marked with the ! icon.

Finally some movement! Four issues in to the "New Flash" and things get rolling. I liked the Captain Cold interaction. I liked the bait and switch at the end (who else thought it would be Hal). I liked that Wally's memories are re-surfacing. I wish this had started unfolding earlier in the arc. A good issue. Not worth three issues of mind-numbing mediocrity to get here, but it's a start.
Good build-up issue. I like the new Servants of Darkness (although they pale in comparison to the originals). I though the Brainy/Lyle interaction was great. I thought the Legion came off good as a team. I hope we get back to the Kal-El Superboy soon, though, and figure out what he has to do with this. Also, Kon-El, despite being on the cover, still had little to do with the story. Still, I'm hopeful this all is building to an excellent pay-off.
Good Detective story. Nice to see Batman doing the leg-work and following up through Gotham Central. I guess with Gordon gone, his contact to the PD is logically scaled back quite a bit. I'm worried next issue will be another "Bruce dreams about the tragedy" issue full of internal conflict and guilt. The creative team have kept it freash so far, here's hoping they side-step the obvious next issue.
Picked up this issue last night. Have to say I don't think much of the "Broken City" storyline so far. I much preferred Jim Lee and Scott Williams' artwork to Eduardo Risso's current work on this title.
The story hasn't "grabbed" yet, and the continuity bothers me a little bit. I know it's a different writer and he wants to do his own thing but, if your going to put the story in the main title magazine, keep some consistency. I'm most annoyed by the drastic change in Killer Croc from just a few issues ago.
The most interesting part of the issue I found to be the preview for "Gotham Knights #50" in the center of the issue.
Picked up all three of the JLA/Avengers Books.
I liked it, but it definetly is the hardest to follow of the three so far.
Using the old versions of some of the characters gave me the feeling the writers were choosing the versions they like the best. It seemed kind of like a slight against the current versions.
One bonus is if this 4-part "altering reality" series is placed between Batman #619 and #620 it would explain the inconsistancies I complained about in my eariler post.

I could spin it the other way and say Loeb's the one who's trampled continuity . IMO, Croc as written in "Broken City" is the closest the character's been to his roots in a long time. Remember when Croc was introduced he was just a criminal with a skin condition who happened to be quite strong. The Super-human/Mutant stuff cropped up much later and with very little explanation.
Of course, the other factor is that "Broken City" was originally written as a GN separate from the Bat-Titles and they were asked to 'port it over to the regular series, so chances are it was written before or at the same time as 'Hush'.

I agree that it's a great book as well. However I am surprised that Diana would slum with Bruce. I mean here's a guy who kept a young boy in tights in a cave :D
Seriously Clark would be much better off if he dumped Lois. I know it's not in his character but I have always thought that Lane was a goldigger. I mean she never cared about Clark until she found out he was Supes, and then she was all over him. Heh I am sorry fan boy rant over.
