Ok so here is idea: cards that give some bonus before game starts. Thease cards led you do something to chosen unit that makes it better. SW would naturally have option to do D3 (1-2 is 1, 3-4 is 2 and 5-6 is 3) damage to chosen SW unit before game even starts. Some other would give chosen unit some bonus for rest of game and so on. Thease would of course be faction spesific but not meant to replace faction prides.
please not... please no more cards... i fear cards are here to stay.... everyone at our venue is really sick of the cards and the more cards you have the more it cucluttered the game and the game was fun because it was free of cucluttered (dice, rulebook, SE card, and pieces and your ready to go) the game was fast and action packed but now you have to stop and prossces all the card and modiflier before you do anything and it creats a lot of dead time... if we wanna play a complex tabletop game we can go play CBT which a great game when you have the time but more cards... (which WizTopps is adding) is not what this game needs so don't encorage them to do more of this
Isn't that the point of gear and pilot cards? To give a unit "ability X" for the duration of the game?
Sure but idea would be give that bonus as some kind of tactical advange that chosen unit gets before battle. Also i thought that having some kind of balancing system like rolling dice and seeing does that combat bonus card come to effect. 5+ would be good number becouse its not too easy but not too difficult to roll.
