At least the business school portion of the academy is pretty good, just the Mechwarrior curriculum sucks.

Oh joy ... now ALL the factions have a generic Jacob Banson pilot. Ugh. At least in Magic if a card was a stinker you could burn it as kindling in a fire. But burning this worthless piece of #### will just stink. A waste.

I think you're right about that... especially cince Assaults move slow and are good targets for arty. I would have thought it would have at least a 0 instead of a -1. Or at least give it some movement instead of +2 to the AV. Oh well... I don't think I will use this card much.

I assert that defense iwithout decoy is relatively meaningless in the face of formation fire and piloted heavy and assault mechs with improved targeting/attack equivalent equal to 13. Want defense, pair it with a HL Kelswa and save the defense points........

Heh, two things funny: Hero Academy, anyone heard of that?? Last time I checked, Batman and Wonder Woman were the lecturers, with ol' red cape and underwear-showing Supe as the Rector :p. And one of his merits is survivability?? For who, exactly?? I'm guessing, they really teach you how to ride command chairs during ejections, because you actually plan on punching out from an assault mech.
