^^^ Skanda Light Tank - JF
^^ Kelswa Assault Tank - JF
^^ Hasek Mechanized Combat Vehical - JF
^ Sniper Team - JF >> In the Hasek
Formation 2
Sekhmet Assault Vehical - Merc
^ Zahn Heavy Transport - Merc
^ R10 Mechanized ICV - HL
^ Behemoth II Tank - HL -- In the Zahn
^^^ Kelswa Assault Tank - HL -- In the R10
Goal:
Tank Drop the HL Kelswa and the Behemoth into formation with the Sekhmet and place them into Hindering so they can formation fire with 12 inch range and 4 damage AP.
Put Formation 1 in close proximity with Formation 2 and drop the Sniper so they can formation fire with a 12 in range and 5 damage AP. With all being tracked (expect the 2 transports) I will not be hindered but the enemy will be and a possible 9 points of damage combined with 14 to hit while in formation and high defence.
I'd like to toss the Skehmet for another HL tank, but my collection lacks in HL and RS.
Ideas and suggestions? I may not own units, but I might be able to use a friends.

Sekhmet Assault Vehical - Merc
Artillery

VTOL

Formation 1, when in a formation has at green a max range of 12 with 5AP possible damage and a 14 attack and 18-24 defence, A bit light on the defence but 5 AP should help balance that a little.
Formation 2, when in a formation at green, has a max range of 14 with possible 4AP damage with 4 targets and 24 shared defence.
All vehicals are treaded so can ignore the movement penalty in hindering yet will still get the defence bonus and hopefully the Artillery will keep the enemy moving. The Vtol is mostly for finishing blows and VC3.
I actually kinda like it. I won the Snakes in the grass tourney recently and came up against a 2 assault mech army. It turns out using the points for a combined forces army is much better than a 2 mech army.
Actually I got my rear handed to me. 3 rounds, 3 losses. First Round they had 5 infiltrating units, they dropped rather easily but he had a mech with a 30 inch range and 6 points of damage and that leveled me, I could not get close enough.
2nd round was a much more fun round, but I lost allow due to bad rolls and a really nice Death from Above. Good game however.
3rd round I was up against someone that just passed and said he was going to do nothing but pass untill I went first. Then he stayed outside my range the whole like and we spent the game doing little more than cat & mouse. The only way I got him to do anything was by pogging a mech. Sub Zero Temp did not help either, my vehicals were stuck half the time and since he told me what the card did and as a battle master I took his word for it, he said that SZT made me roll one die for each vehical and not 1 die for all, so this ruined my formations and well... the guy was just a cheating jerk.
I don't mind loosing, heck I don't play to win, I play to have fun. But people that reveal that the SZT does something else with 7 min left in the game and he has a very clear upper hand is lousy.
btw he only kill the Vtol and the JF Kelwsa. It's was that slow.
There needs to be a rule against eternal stalling.
