I've only recently acquired Esperanza, so gonna give it a try. I'd love to support it with a Hellion or Solitarie, but then at 600 pts, there'd be not much else in the army.

Swamp nerfs speed to 8 on non-Hover and non-VTOL units.

I've never used a Hauberk before, but the Point Defense of 18 actually bolsters the defense of the 2 Sniper teams from 16 to 18, plus the Hauberk has the range to formation fire with the 2 snipers.

Gnome is just 23 point filler.

I like esperanza... and the high d and decoy will help u get close and make up for u short range. But the tanks are something I really dont like, unless its arty I dont use it unless i have a drop going on. If u are wanting to play ros/highlanders, i would suggest dropping the 3 regulators and replacing it with
2 hadurs, which would then leave u with another 66 points to use towards support. The Hadur isnt the best HIGHLANDER Arty, but it is a hover vehicle so u maintain your speed. Heck if you r feeling froggy throw in 3 of them and then another 18 point infantry You would then have a movement formation of three artys, 3-2 damage ap pogs and with swamp in effect u wont have to worry about basers to quickly. This is just my opinion, as I dont know a lot about the factions that u play other then when HAWKEYEDOWN plays them I usually kill them

haubrucks are not very good, i only used them 1 time ever, and they are not good. they are infantry with a minimum 4 range, add more sniper teams, use liao-rots alliance and then put alpha strike on esperanza, nine damage and a potental 20 attack is pretty much gonna punch through anything, not to mention theyll be losing occasional turns if your lucky.
