From what I can tell, Vanguard does not introduce any new planetary condition cards. It does, however, give us merc contract cards for all the factions that are missing them (including Clan Sea Fox).

The original announcement for Vanguard mentioned "condition" cards, which I took to mean planetary condition, but apparently this now means merc contract.

I'm not upset about this - just surprised. Did anyone else pick up on this?

Yep, the only non-pilot/gear cards that are in Vanguard are Faction Prides, Situational Alliances, and Mercenary Contracts; no Missions or Planetary Conditions.

So far, I know that the Merc Contracts include the four new ones from the Advanced Starter (Republic, Rasalhague, Kurita, and Jade Falcon) as well as new ones for Clan Wolf/Steel Wolves and Sea Fox, and I'm assuming Nova Cat has one, as well.
