A few months ago, I posted an idea for a website called the Online Army Showcase. It was designed to be a community site for minature war gamers. Well, after several months of work, I've got the site up and running. It can be accessed at

To give a quick summary of the site. I welcome everyone to join up and create pages for your armies. I'm trying out a new web portal of mine in which pages are built from components. These components can be placed anywhere on the page. Currently there are about 8 customizable components including textboxes, images, photo galleries, etc. As time goes on, I will be adding new and cooler components.

At the moment, I have the following games: Mechwarrior, Battletech, Warhammer(both 40K and fantasy), Warmachine, and a catergory to put up a page about yourself(which is completely optional). New games are not hard to add, so If you play one which is not currently available, send an e-mail to the address on the home page and I'll get to work on it.

Last thing, this site is currently a project site for myself. What this means is that while I have tested everything, opening a website up to the general public will result in the discovery of new errors, so I'll try to fix any new problems as quickly as possible, but don't expect the level of support you would get with a major website.

However, there is one good thing about this website being a project site. Its completely FREE. It costs nothing to browse,join, or post. Also, there are no ads of any kind at the moment. So showing off your army will not cost you a thing.
