Basically this is a hypothetical question, but if it were within the rules right now or if you house rule this type of thing for your own games already, what pilots or gear would you use on old mechs that exist right now? All of this is assuming that players know what type/size of a mech they are using to put the gear onto, like assault mechs, heavy mechs, and types like this that they would need to know to make it all work. What would you combine with what?

DF Raider/Katana/Double Rate
BR Lego/NAIS/Mechanical Repair (great in packs)
Any old-school Assault (Jonah, Bounty Hunter, Declan, whatever)/Coolant Pod
M Crimson Hawk/Milhew(JF)/Evade
SC Sun Cobra/Patches/PPC Capacitor
