Wasn't the the aforementioned movie supposed to be previewed at Origins? Or was it at one of the later cons this summer?

It was supposed to be premiered at Origins, according to the DAVE School website.

Dunno if it actually was, since I wasn't there, but I haven't heard any reports about it so it might not have been. Or maybe people just aren't talking about it for some reason.

I was just curious as mentioned, no one said anything about it. I'm guessing (hoping) they are just putting the finishing touches on it.

I presume it is a safe assumption that it will most assuredly be front page material with umpteen views/replies after it is ready/available for download.

I went to Origins and asked about the Dave school movie. Nobody knew anything about it even wizkids reps. Thats all I know.

Apparently at Envoy Night WizKids informed the group that the DAVE movie was not quite ready yet. Hopefully it'll air at GenCon.

Now if MW realy wants to sell it has to get a hollywood movie going.....

Yeah, except there's about a 100% chance any Hollywood MechWarrior movie will suck unrepentantly.

But if we all cross our fingers and hold our breaths?

Then we'll be blue in the face with sore fingers and a sucky MW movie. :p

And if were particularly unlucky, we'll end up with something like RobotJocks

Then let Disney give it a spin. ;)

RobotJox wasn't all bad. Plus, the Gundam Savior movie was pretty good, so there's a chance. Maybe if the upcoming Transformers movie does well?

Well if Pixar did it, it probably wouldn't suck. But it would be geared
for 8 year olds.

Occurs to me if Disney did get ahold of it they could make one heck of a
ride or simulator. Again geared for 8 year olds.
