Y'know, I'm trying to think of the last time a Dutchman won Worlds. It's just... it's just slipping my mind. I mean, it must have happened SOMEtime. Elite, you wanna help me out? I just can't seem to remember the last time a DUTCHMAN won Worlds.

True sofar no dutchman did we did make 2nd place though equal record to the US best sofar. Let's see what happens this year. :devious:
Considering he's got a smaller gene pool to draw from than you guys you got no solid ground underfoot dude. Particularly since despite your population advantage you STILL haven't beaten a Canuk.

What can I say they're really crafty ;) I also heard of some special powers granted by the loonie/toonie, though that may have been let out to throw us off track. :)
It has been suggested to the Powers That Be that the event should be moved to GenCon. There at least there will be some international players accompanying those competing in the regular worlds competition. As it stands, Fellowship "Worlds" should be called the U.S. "Nice" Guys Turn Cutthroat event.
I think the main problem with the invites for Fellowships worlds is that it was sent out 2 weeks before the event itself.
Gimme 6 months I might prepare for moneywise and all, but 2 weeks.
On a sitenote and no doubt this will make me mr real not nice, why bother with fellowship worlds at all. I am all for fellowship on the local scene dont get me wrong. But on Nationals and the World stage make it a big competition skip the fellowship part. As the guy above me said all it does is getting scrubs to play serious.
Yeah, the 2-week notice thing meant that any player who doesn't actively pay attention to the websites had NO IDEA that the tournament was happening until it was too late to make plans to go.
Similarly, with Worlds invites having ALSO not been passed out, a miniscule part of me is nervous that a clerical error could cause some people's invites to be lost in the shuffle (i.e. someone like Zxqueb, who was Top-25 on June 15, the cutoff date for auto-invites, but has dipped down below that level since).
