Now her mech gets the hand to hand special equpment after so many clicks. does her special ability aply to the h-t-h roll? like if i hit and i roll a 6 does it do 7 instead?

This is Tormark in Kuro Ha? That's the way I've always played it. And if you want extra HTH lovin' add Brawling and do a d6+2.

yes the ability adds 1 to the damage dealt so whatever you roll on a d6 gets +1 , so indeed rolling a 6 will get 7 click of damage when equiped with brawling it ads another to close combat damage.

Add in FP for another +1 damage.
I've alway used Rapid Strike CEC (only got to HtH SE once) for 8 clicks
2+1 +1 (FP) + 4 (Rapid Strike).
And if you can't CC with her the FP adds to the 5 click RCO. She's really nasty in Black Blade for the amount of points spend on her.

It was my understanding that you could only use one SE on a slot at a time. You had to turn one "off" and another "on'. Am I mistaken?

I'm a huge C&H fan from WAY back. It was long overdue.

Brawling: Cannot stack with Kuro Ha's HTH Weapon because they are on the same slot.

FP Card: takes effect in step 6c. THEN HTH weapon kicks in. So the FP doesn't result in D6+2. That's why you use Rapid Strike ;).

I thought that Brawling adds +1 to CC regardless of which slot it's attached to.

If the brawling was on a different slot, then it would. Since it must be placed on the same slot as the HtH and it does not state that it works with other melee special equipment, then you would have to chose which one to use.
