Hiya guys,

Another minutia question for you. The other day I pulled L-033, Nuo Chien in a booster. She has a special ability to reduce damage from a ranged combat attack by 1, with a minimum of 1. The mech that she pilots has Reflective Armor SE.

Now, I checked the rulebook on pg29, the Attack Sequence to try to figure out if the pilot's special ability applies before or after the SE, but I couldn't figure it out. So, if this mech were to be attacked for 3 points of energy damage, would I click once, or not at all?

Nuo's ability kicks in with Damage dealt to targets whereas armour reduces damage scored. So she will always get damaged but less than she should.

Ah, so that's the trick I was looking for. "Damage Delt" would mean that the effect comes after pretty much everything else. Cool. I can live with that. thanks.
