Question 1)

If I use a Mercenary Contract card do I have to put the faction on all the Mercenary or WH units?

Case in point: using a WH uniique 'mech with it's preferred pilot and not paying faction recruitment cost.

Question 2)

If I use a WH 'mech and a Gunslinger pilot do I have to pay a recruitment cost?

Case in point: What is AIKO'S cost in "Seka's Pride" Vulture 27pts. or 32pts. recruited to WH?

As far as I know, Wolf Hunters are considered to be mercenaries with a faction symbol. One of the advantages of this unique Wolf Hunters trait is that you can put Gunslinger pilots into Wolf Hunters 'Mechs without having to pay recruitment costs for them. When you use a Mercenary Contract card, any mercenary, Gunslinger en Wolf Hunters unit in your army automatically gains the faction symbol(s) mentioned on that card. There's actually no avoiding it, it's not selective.
