Please rate this army.If you have any sugestions go ahead and post them. Thanks Demi-Magus 2blue 2yellow,and 1 Magus (move in formation with 2 d-m in front and 2 on the sides.) 2 yellow ESA and 1 red magestone lord.(ESA in front of lord) 1 Blue grave robber 1yellow corrupted preist(touching Magus) 300pts. Thanks again
strategy:put the figures with dodge other than helkate hookjaw in front of youre army. pu the magma guardian in behind youre army the magma guardian goes in front of helkate hookjaw and podo in front of stomper. now if someone attacks the front of youre army you have a chance to dodge it and if sommeone comes close to youre figs. just open the path shoote it with stomper put helkate hookjaw in front of the target then wait until youre counters are off capture with helkate and go to youre starting base and fight the rest of his army with stomper and keep on doing the technique..........
If your opponent neutralizes your Corrupted Priest, these will be your options with a Grave Robber:
**Demi-Magus: 3/6 chance of failure or demoralization, only 1/6 chance of even having Magic Blast (at a pathetic 5 attack)
*Demi-Magus: 3/6 chance of failure or demoralization, NO chance of Magic Blast
*ESA: 3/6 chance of failure or demoralization, NO chance of WM or ME.
The ***Magestone Lord and Magus would likely fare better... but when it comes down to it, without your single healer, your opponent WILL want you to bring figures back from the grave, because they won't be slightly intimidating and will be easy bonus points.
there are really few army types that work well with necromancy, and it should only be used on cheaper figs since you dont want your opponet racking up the points by killing your more costly figs. On the other hand, played in the right type of army, necro can be a deadly force.
In the right army your necromancy rolls over the top of an opponent. In the wrong army, such as this one, a player is going to go out of his way to keep the digger in the game. It makes life easier on me when I just have to kill the same figure over and over again to get my points instead of killing off the entire army.
6 magic enhancers and you're only enhacning 2 people? That's just bad thinking in general. If you're going to use an enhancing formation at all, you better make sure that for every 2 enhancers you're enhacing 2 ranged attackers twice. This means that for magus and magestone lord you should only have 2 enhancers enhacing them both twice.
With the magus having levitation and all, you would want the suroks to be close to the magus as well since he can fling them out into the world to cause havoc and chaos when need be.
lets start here, drop down to 2 enhancers and the magestone lord and the magus and build an army that supports this formation.
