Golems are cool, and they seem to overrun MageKnight with their numbers. You get to see Storm Golems, Steam Golems, Battle Queens, Techuns, Thunder Golems, and Dwarven Stompers in the tourney scene.

But what about the other Golems? you know, the Brass Golems, Bone Golems and Wood Golems, that almost everyone ignores. I've acquired a lot of them, and since I don't want to dispose them (as if anyone would want them...) I have tried to come up with an army viable enough to enter a small time tourney here in Manila. So far all my ideas failed. If anyone of you guys can come up with any army concerning these unsung warriors. reply to this post ASAP!

Brass and wood golems cannot be used, period. Bone Golems haowever are very efective in squads. keep a *corrupted priest behind them, they have rather meager defenses. But they also have regen. Use *** Bone Golems if possible. Watch your opponent cry when a few "worthless" bone golems rip apart his best figures.

bone golems will work well es[ecially in an attack formation butwith out anything to heal them dont even bother with wood golems. They are C-R-A-P ####!.You will never ever win any respectable tourney with them unless played with lots of ranged and healing support and a necro.

Ok. Thanx. anyway what about Fighting automatons and that stuff. Any golem that you can think of try to make an army with it. Use those golems that usually gather dust in the tin can.

Flesh Golem
Fighting Automatons
Scouting Automaton
Brass Golem
Whirling Golem

You should post messages to fellow filipino plyer at the forums/clan_alliance/clan_discussions section... there you'll meet a lot... and I mean a lot of filipino players eager to help or trade.

As for the lesser golems....

I would like to try out an atlantis fighting automaton swarm.... best melee golems though are the BLADE GOLEMS.... I would rather use them than the bone golems.... weapon mastery is such a gamble to use . sometimes you end up with a high 6 or a lowly 1 dice roll... It kind of $ucks when you do 1 damage against toughness figs..... *boings*

Another Golem that seems rather good are the DEADWOOD Golem
Funny though that the only good wood golems are the dead ones.... *jeesh*.....

I remember when I started of playing MK me and a friend of mind really had a hard time killing the flesh golem.... It just had too many regen slots.... that was then... until we realized that we could actually capture it instead....funny funny funny....
