In the damp, dark, damp, deep research labs of RealmWorx, LCC (Did we mention is was damp down here?)... we have been working hard to bring you....
Ok, whatever... we didn't do anything. :) We've been keeping an eye on MKArmyBuilder from the very beginning (as we do all projects), and have been very impressed with the software they have put out, and the dedication these guys have put behind their work. The sort of dedication we saw in ourselves when we first started a little site called "mkrealms".
With that in mind, we saw their program as a great benefit to the Mage Knight community, and great fit to what we have here at MKRealms... so we offered to host them, and they accepted.
So please join us in welcoming MKArmyBuilder to the MKRealms family!
Typhon, Draddog: In addition to being omniscient and omnipotent, you guys have an amazing ability to gather all the best projects around yourselves. :) Though its someone else's work (and I'd like to thank them profusely too) you're a great service to the community, and hosting MKAB was great of you. Its a great program and I'm glad to see it on the Realms.
Not sure what you mean by "can't get your army to appear". If it's not appearing in the army list on the left hand side of the army tab, then, try clicking on the new button (the white document). If you type in an army name and hit enter, the new army should appear in the available armies list.
To edit your army full screen, click on the army tab, select the army you want to edit, then open up the filter for the army panel (the long skinny button on the left hand side of the army figure list) and uncheck the count filter. You can then go through and add the figures you want (using the filter panel, you can quickly find which figs you want to add).
Alternatively, you can go to the inventory/army tab, find figures in your inventory, then double click on them to move them to your current army.
With each new expansion we release a new version of the program. The new version will contain the new figs and images, and can install safely over the old so that your inventories and armies will remain intact.
Also, due to popular demand, we're finally going to knuckle down and write some help and tutorials. We're also strongly considering moving towards a traditional file system (File Menu / Open / Save) to help cut back on confusion regarding how to create new armies / inventories, etc.
As soon as we get a chance to breath (after we finish our hirst art's models for the dungeons contest this week end) we're going to probably post the results from the last survey, put up another quick survey, and get serious for the 2.2 build (low res support, easier file management, help, etc.). Hopefully by mid to end of next week we'll have a 2.2 beta available.
Thanks!
Shawn
btw - by Low Res support we mean better layouts for 800x600, 1024x768, etc.
