WizKids just posted this prototype and rules for a contest where fans get to name a upcoming Dungeons figure:

The next Dungeons expansion is coming very soon, but we have encountered a minor problem! We don't know what to name this new figure or what her story is! So we are running a contest: submit a name for this unique. If you win, you will receive a set of Raydan Marz and Black Thorn figures as well as a set of Heroic Quests (The Citadel and Magestone)! If we *really* like your idea, it may even become the final name for the figure! 4 Runners-Up will receive one Level 5 Dungeon LE as well as a set of Heroic Quests (The Citadel and Magestone). Email your entries to [email protected] with the subject of Name That Dungeon Figure. Please read the rules below for more information. The pictures to the right, and below, are of the final sculpt for the new figure. She's green because she has not been painted yet, she will not be green when finally produced.

I'd like to suggest that anyone who feels tempted to put their ideas for names in this forum probably should resist. If someone submits your idea and wins with it, your going to feel pretty silly!

The face needs a little detail. It needs to be more cat like I think.

A slight problem here.....

Is this unique fig a HERO or a MAGE SPAWN? Or something in between. This makes a big difference in the backstory, name, etc. Does anyone know which one for sure?

Is the scult and colors final? If its all green that could be worked into the name/backstory...gotta do more research me thinks!

Well apparently the contest isn't available to us Canadians, so I thought I'd post my two cents here.

The figure resembles the common depictions of the Avatar of Bast the egyptian goddes of War and Vengeance, she is also carrying an Ankh which is an egyptian cross.

I hope that this little tidbit of info can help someone.

This is a very nice looking fig, I am very happy to see Wizkids improve on the figs set by set.
Compare this fig to rebellion or lancer figs, this looks 10 times better

I don't have all of the details, so please don't kill the messanger. The reason it is only open to US Residents, 18 years and older, is due to the way contests are held in Canada (and other countries). Our legal team has been going over our contest rules to make sure they will reach as broad a populous as possible, and may modify the existing ones, so there may be hope. Let me be the first to say that I (and other people who work with these contests) did ask for it to include as many people, and as many countries, as possible. This contest (and the three others) do have sensitive time limits however, and it was better to start them with the rules we have, then not have the contest at all.

A Wizkids rep! All right, maybe you'll answer my question. Is it going to be a mage spawn or a hero? This really does impact my idea for the name so sum1 plz tell me.

Ummm, nope, the green is actually what the sculptors sculpt the figures in. That's right, that is a hot out of the sculpting team's hands piece! It was finished and approved in the last 24 hours! So, no, it won't be green. The colored pieces are, I believe, using either a different type of clay, or metal fittings, to hold the sculpture together. I might be wrong about that, not my deparment ;) It would not be green (or have metal) when it comes from the factories, it would be plastic like normal Mage Knight figures. I think they have to support it to make molds of it, but now I am really talking out of my area ;).
