i have a necromncer #149 and a corrupted Priest (all 3 skill levels) comming in off ebay... i know alot of peeps don't like necro's but that is what i am into and i was wondering if anyone could help me fill out this 200 or maybe even 300 point army? i have the priest (not sure what level) for healing and the necro for the obvious... i figure push death on characters weak to avoid them ranking in the kills of my regenerations....?

You're right about people's opinion on the Necromancer.

Most of them don't like him. I'm one of those people, I just can't say the contrary.

All Corrupted Priests are very strong and useful. In 200 points the best version is the * though.

But if you really want to field him, I think you should try playing a single faction army, which is not competitive, but pretty fun.

If you like to play Necropolis Sect, there are great figures. I don't know which ones you have, but I'll just list some of the good pieces:

Well, the corrupted priests are awesome in their own right, but the Necro isn't the best. However, you want to use him and we'll help!

I tried to stick with the theme you asked for, but the CP is kinda hard to justify. He isn't needed too much with the resurrecting of the zombies, but he could assist the loners a bit and do some long ranged!

You could add a Necromancer on the back with the priest and on the front a line of skeletons with a Shyft guy to make them move really fast...

Or you could make a formation of zombie hounds and chase the enemy backed up by Seething Knights ( the ** are really good ) and a Fell Reaper to finish any annoyance on the board.

if u want the necro and the priest yes that army is good but as for fielding it there will be trouble.
Any heavy hitter will kill the necromancer easy. Then a rammer will kill the rest also venom would hurt maybe somethin like this

For a hate army here it is

That would kill you a ram the the skellys and they're done the pyre and HEG will kill the necro quick imps would slow the zombie hounds to prevent charge.

As for amking the army better i no this would ruin the theme but dont use my advice if u dont want it. Drop the priest. Change the necro to a witch or somethin cheaper. Then a rammer/charger/heavy melee fighter to do the dirty work

you cant really field the necromancer in the frontline even with the priest. as he has MI in his defence slot for 4 or 5 clicks.

if you still manage to move them upfield, its either your opponent with shoot the necromancer and/or kill your CP.

necro should stay at the back lines.

those all look tight but i don't have all those neat figs... i am going to buy about 5 boosters of sinister this payday. i have the necro and corrupt priests comming in...

you should buy unlimited instead and pray for a zombie baron

or look on neutral grounds/e-bay for one.
