What are some armies and strategies based around the Magus Draconum for 200 or 300 points? Thanks for your help

He is one of the best Draconum in my opinion, especially if you judge by his points cost / abilities relation.

I don't like very much to play him in 200 points armies, but I've seen an efficient team like this:

Loner
Magus Draconum - 93 points

Formation
Standard Bearer * - 11 points
Elf at Arms *** - x 3 - 57 points
Rivvenguard *** x 1 - 19 points

Harassment / Blocker
Shade * x 1 - 12 points
Imp *** x 1 - 8 points

Total - 200 points

Today people were talking about uniques in 200 points and how they usually work well with swarm. I agree with that, that's the way I like to use my Wraith in 200 points.

Magus Draconum is a great loner, I always try to take advantage of his MB and Flight.

If it helps, use him similarly as to how you'd use Solonavi Destroyer. Although maybe a bit more aggressively.

Have him follow up a main threat and take shots at the big non-MI threats. I dont see his 4 damage as a waste like some would. You can use it in the open (and melee) and 1-6 MB from cover.

He's a pretty good piece

Use magus D. behind a wall of Warrior Sprites. he can shoot and not be shot. put in a couple of Centaur Lt. and it is pretty efective
