Not to rain on your parade, but the nationals are only 200 points.

Just to let you guys know, the organizers of the tournament decided to make it a 300 pts.

the only thing i see amatter with it is you can't make any formations. and i have no idea what you tactics are.

Where exactly are you getting your information that the tournament will be 300 points?

The only official announcement regarding Nationals on the main site specifically calls it a "200-point Head-to-Head" tournament.

I for one would be happy to see a 300 point format, but I seriously doubt that that will happen.

The Dutch nationals were also 300p, not that that means anything. The army looks good. I am sure you will win some balltles with it.

yes... the tourney is 300pts. here played alongside with mythos too. the problem is, most ppl here used dragons GFD and RLD, which really cant be beaten in 50mins.

I believe its a nationals for another country he is talking about..

since its 300 pts and they haven't banned the dragons, I would play one if the time is standard 50 minutes. They really can not be beaten unless you let your opponent beat it, or face another dragon. Your best bet is the GFD.

something along the lines of:

GFD young 202
2 technomancer*
utem gaurdsman*
2 skeletons*
graverobber*

Flung skeletons will keep the GFD safe when it pushes or you can critically wound something when your opponent pushes it to hit the dragon.

If you expect other MDFs Radiant Light Dragon can be used at 201 along with a Scouting Automaton* instead of the Guardsman***. The pierce is nice, but it's hard to hit with the 10 attack sometimes, but RLD does work.

the GFD and the RLD... are some of the staple army construction here in my (and myth0s) area. i dont know why i didnt use one to play fire with fire, thats why i badly lost. :(

I never played against a Dragon, but you don't you go for the support...
Kill one supporter and flee...

Build your army with at least one "rapid figure" (Fell Reaper is good) and use blocking terrain, MB can also be good.

Hey.. i don't see any formation, therefore i think the only thing iwould do is drop the Captain.

I know it's anti swarm and it's inself a great warrior, but you could get better anti swarms with the points out of him.

Also, you could improve the Fell Reaper to ***, and put another gunner *so you could make a formation.

Remember the gunners have low defense so i'd reconsider the EGM than the Krugg Seer.

And 31 points worth in something. Everything has 19 defense but the looners. It's a good army believe me.

Maybe you could add a Shade * to stop a lil' the swarm while you make up with a good posittion to fire off when shade's killed.

Isn't the 1st formation vulnerable to flame lightning? The EGM could easily be fried, with the rest of them. Say a 14" striker, isn't it a bit difficult? You have to bring up your champion needlessly, or the tracker, and let them take needless damage.

Although i'm not saying him to play this army it's a variant.

I'm trying to make the army a lil bit more focused (You got 1 charger, 2 gunners not in formation, a lone healer and a big harasser) so it could get more sinergy.
