Ok i been collecting mage knight for a long while, I have heard many people say that shockwave will kill nightstalkers and wraith. But when i read the ability card it states that stealth makes it so that lines of fire drawn through hindering terrain become lines of fire drawn through blocking terrain. So why would shockwave affect it when it says that line of fire is never considered blocked by another figures base but terrain is treated the same. That means that shockwave wouldnt hurt people with stealth, so why do people say it would?

Because you're forgetting the most important part of Shockwave:

A Shockwave attack is resolved as if all of its targets had no special abilities (except Aquatic).

The reason Stealth won't protect the figure is that, for purposes of the Shockwave attack, the figure doesn't even HAVE Stealth.

Assuming the line of fire goes through hindering terrain, the attacker will still have the -1 hindering terrain penalty to hit it though.

However, since shockwave is affected normally by terrain, just remember that it can't target figs behind blocking terrain.

Unless its magic blast shockwave, which goes through blocking.
