The GFD and Stone Thrower enhanced will work on the tower. The Centaur Champion is there to protect the Magi. Grave Robber brings back any that are killed. Corrupted Priest heals of course. Shaman heals and enhances. Gunner to fire on approaching formations can be enhanced. The KI swarm is there to take on any MDF.
if you use three sections to move it can only move 9" if you use all 4 it can move 12". But if you use all 4 to move, you have to push to fire at double range on the tower. I think the Fist only has two clicks of Pierce on its front section. Based on that I decided that the Ancient Great Fire Dragon was a better value at 80 points cheaper. The Dragon can fly up to 16" using three sections and fire 20" at double range. It doesn't have Pierce but does 7 clicks of damage from its front section, so even subtracting the 2 for long range attack and 2 for Inv., it still hits the tower for 3 on its first turn. Where the Fist hits for 4 on turn 2 pushed plus 80 less points in my army to deal with other things.
Radiant has 24 inch shot and pierce plus defend on sides -- about same move only 5 base damage & 7 slots of pierce though --a formation with ME could move up and enhance on first turn because of longer range doing 5-7 damage after the reduction for range

Unfortunately, I don't have the RLD. I was wondering if it had Pierce. What is the point cost on the RLD? I might consider picking one up before the tournament.

hmmm, with only 5 ml/me pieces your giving your opponent a chance , if he can tie up your dragon long enough and has a ffew quick pieces the demi's and esa's will die quick, only like 4-5 clicks and if your using them together to enhance somthing 2 good flame lightning attacks with enhancement could end the game quick. so even though its enticing to pack all the me together i suggest you spread them out and hope that your dragon can get to the tower before the tower can get you...
You face the same problem I do. Neither of us currently have enough ME/ML. Although all your figures serve a purpose in your army, if anything had to go, I'd say the wind minion.
losing the Gunner since it has 2 clicks of demoralized which will be bad in Conquest and maybe losing the Shades and the Imp, which should allow me to add a *ESA, a **Demi-Magus and maybe something else. I really would like to keep the Wind Minion since it has LI protecting it from range combat and it can Shockwave the Tower. I considered using the Wraith instead, that would free up some more points. The Wraith could stay in hindering and then base the tower and make close combat attacks since it has 4 damage. I could possibly use the Wyvern as a heavy harrasser. What do you think?
