Here is what i have been wanting to do. I wanted lots of speed which i have. The slowest is the scropem with 10. That isnt bad but it is a bit slow. It was easily madde up for by the range and bound. I wanted lots of first strike. I have 5 which is a ton for 300 points. I wanted a healer to come back to and i have a good one. I wanted to have atleast one harasser with easy break aways and the warrior sprite does the job. The general ide is to mess up their set up right away and rampage attacking before they can. Then if they need it they get healed. With a harasser to hold down the enemy charge should be a bit easier. Then i have an E@A to just be there as kinda a minor threat just for some extra punch.
I would not advise using the Warrior sprite as a harrasment u use to base an enemey with, if hit or pushed to break away, your sprite loses his reason to live. LI
the sole E@As purpose is mystery to me, I would drop it to upgrade the rest. (*** reapers are SOOO much better)
First thing I would do is drop the Bearer and add an Infantry Captain. You would have enough points dropping the E&A who seems to be a little lost in your formation.
I would also try to upgrade at least one of the Light Lancers to a ***. Upgrading both sounds even better.
I don't like the Scorpem without ML, he loses a lot of power to maneuver and gets too exposed. He's not only glassjawed, he's pretty easy to hit.
Ok first off he is playing light cavs and not lnacers. He does have one heavy Lancer though which is nice. WS*** keep LI for 2 clicks. You do not need ML with the scorpem because you have chargers to protect him. Als long as the scorpem has not been based it will make it back ot be healed. Just some things to think about:
Light cav have a low defense and can be captured on their first clicks. Be careful with them or they will not last long.
Nightmare reaper: They are nice with the 7 in charge but the Fell*** is a better choice. You have enough chargers so a nice long range unit would work well for your army. It would allow you to harrase and threaten just about any unit on the board. It also allows you to close on the opponent.
E@A: he realy is not needed so you could drop him and add the points some where else.
This army is a good start. Now after some games you'll leanr what units are worth their pts for it and which are not. I think after playing it a few times you'll be able to tune it up to be more effective.
Ya i changed it and used it today. I took out the light caveliers and the E@A and added an imp* and 2*heavy caveliers. It worked well. The sprite was used to base the enemy because it has healing nearby and I didnt play against a ranged army. If i did he would work with the scorpem.
