Alright I am trying extremely hard to use Martyr but everything keeps on failing. I just can't seem to find a single use for it. I mean sure it gets heal but thats only a twelve inch heal with a 10 attack. I think that it's charging ability is pretty scrubby because it charges them for 2 clicks woohoo. Any of you guys see differently and can use this figure in a good army?

Maybe in conquest. Unlimited games 2-400 points she just doesn't cut it. She carries a big sign that says "capture me."

In conquest let's see. If you're h3ll bent on getting her in there you could pair her initially with other light cavaliers and/or lancers. Then when (not if) she gets hurt you can have her retreat and act as a bounding healer. I'd want to have another healer in the back to make sure she don't die. Preferably a faith healer. This is a rare case where you might just want one or two clicks of healing.

The problem is that's 74 points for a figure that's easily replaced by a tough light lancer combined with a centaur medic. Or if you want a bounding healer with command take the EGM.

I give you credit for trying to make use of the Martyr. Most people wouldn't bother (I don't own one myself).

If you want something that can charge for 2 clicks of damage and something that can heal as well, get a centaur medic. If it werent for better chargers and better healers out there, martyr might find a use, as it stands there are better things to replace her.

I have to agree, Martyr is close to useless, there's no real reason to play. However, I commend you for valiantly trying to find a use for her
