Just wanted to know why the server is busy all of a sudden the past few days. This has never happened to me before on this site and other sites work fine so I am ruling ou tmy computer. is it that somehting big is comign to Mkrealms??

is anyone else gettign this problem a lot?

that's just a wild guess. I've been hit with em a lot too recently.

yeah these past 2 days I've also encountered that server is busy message quite often... but after a while it returns back to normal though.

I've encountered that 3-4 times a visit over the past few days. It's not that bad though. Maybe they're just doing an overhall...

yeah i had the problem all day. kind of frustrating when you are doing trades.

3-4 times past few days?I've had it 4-6 times tonight!It simply means that the online server that runs this website is busy beacuse it is very busy,with new updates,new threads,new posts(like this one),and just to many people on the certian thread site(yes,there is a limt).

well... it been rare for vbulletin to clog up a server... maybe the server just ran outta memory. at the same time with MKrealms it happened when i browsed the MW boards.

It seems they could'nt handle the load either the MYSQL or the Server. (i think the MK and MW realms are hosted on one server.) :(

Hey, it could be Project X:D . OK maybe not. What I always do is check out another site for a couple of minutes (5-10 should surfice). Then I ckeck back and I'm always able to get to this site.

MKRealms, MWRealms, HCRealms, and YuGiOhRealms are all hosted on the same server. In addition, we also host several clan websites.

It's one HECK of a server.

And one HECK of a bandwidth bill every month.

Kolrael is correct... all of our sites are stored on the same server, and we've been forced to temporarily cap server load due to the surge in DC HeroClix & WechWarrior traffic... both tied to the upcoming release of each respective game. Not to mention that MKRealms and YuGiOhRealms both bring in a TON of traffic as it is. We are in the process of spec'n out another server to add to our network. Please be patient with us while we upgrade out system. Also.. Project X is coming. :) ... VERY soon.

Geez, whatever this project X is, it's been in developement since before I joined the realms.....what is project x anyway?

Here's the easiest way to relieve the problem:

Shut down Yu-Gi-Oh Realms and maybe HC Realms.
