Can I use the Castle terrain in any game? Or is it just for conquest? Also, I was going to buy a dragon, but want to know which is best. Thanks!

Yes one can use Castles in any game IF you have the points for it. I recommend the Polar Ice Dragon, it can hit four trgets at one and has range on all sides(even his tail can shoot ; I wonder how that works....).
Thanks! I'll get the Polar Ice Dragon. I was also wondering about Conquest and how that works. I anyone can explain that to me, please PM me or reply to this.

I wouldnt go for the PID, MF isnt so great. I would go for either the Radiant Light Dragon or the Great Fire Dragon.
To get the rules for Conquest you could get the Conquest Book pack which comes with Unlimited and Conquest rules, 3 Uniques and some awesome Siege Engines. If you dont want to spend 20 bucks on all that, you can probably download them
somewhere.
A good site for that would be mkrules.net, they have all the rules.
conquest games play a bit differently, as mentioned the rules book in the seige packs is nice to get if you can. the conquest rules allow for larger groups of figures to move, demoralized figures are removed from play, figures have 360% archs of fire and there is more... like having your first command figure automatically giving you another action.
The Rabbidgerbal questions if the castle pieces would be used in non-conquest games... but if your really wanted to, perhaps. The Dragons could be your total army, just be cautious about being outnumbered.
I would suggest getting the Conquest rulebook with the 3 Uniques and Seige Engines. They make a very nice addition to any Mage Knight collection, as with the unique's power in Conquest battles. It is also a good way to store all of the rules under one book, rather than shuffling through endless piles of fold-up rules.
Castles are good for Conquest, but the "outpost" castle type may be viable in a normal Rebellion game without too much loss in fortification. Conquest is good to support castles, but only if you have lots of money to spend on it. You can use the castles as terrain pieces, but are not allowed to use any of the special features of it being a fortification, just blocking terrain, allthough house rules may bend the declaration of terrain.
I suggest the GFD or the RLD if you want to play Conquest. GFD is good if you are dealing with a swarm that also has one or two "large" figures in the game. RLD is also good but is best when using chain defend for cheese figures, and slight swarms. It is good for healing mass amounts of figures without having to spend too much points on a healer. If Dungeons rules were released on the dragons, the RLD would be great because it could heal figures with toughness and invunerability without having healing deflection. GFD would be the best the choose if you needed to just choose one though.
I would actually go with the VSD, if only for variety. It's the only Dragon that can go to town on the castle itself without being shot at by the castle itself (I believe it's within 4 inches of the center dot if it's in b2b). Plus, it's got a nutty 8 damage on it's front, right, and left sides to start, meaning it can rip a nice-sized hole in the castle RIGHT away.
I'd have to go with the VSD as well. That 8 damage on three sides is hard to beat and any enemy support that tries to get in base contact with it will either get venomed the next turn or polearmed if they go for the back side. That will make your opponent think twice.
