Am I the only one that got screwed in this capaign? What happened was I had won every round, but hadn't ESCAPED with the arm in any round. I had got the arm in the first 2 rounds, and then in the 3rd round I had killed all my opponent's heroes within 3 turns, so he got mad and forfeitted. If he wouldnt have though, I would have gotten the arm and escaped with it. My point is I had 3 wins (3-0) and tons of gold, but I didnt place at all. After the 3rd round I found out that the prizes are given out to the two people with the most escapes from the dungeon with the the most arms, then comes gold. I just want to know if I'm the only one who got screwed out of a great LE6.
Well then, Dumpster, he only really screwed you out of it if he didn't have the Scenario rules available to read before the tournament officially started.
sounds like you screwed yourself. you should know the conditions before you go, so you could make an army to help the conditions. i dont know why you wouldnt know how to win
I did not realise that you could forfit in a tourney. I understood that if you had your @ss kicked in compitition you just had to except it and learn from your mistakes.
I think that forfitting in a tourney is open to abuse, give up just before your opponent reaches his goal and therefore denigh him his rightful place in the rankings. that sucks.
Forfeiting is also known as quitting. It is bad sportsmanship, but there is no way to stop someone from doing it. What are you going to do DQ the person?
My understanding is that a forfeit requires you to leave the tournament in it's entirety. Under normal rules, you would receive a certain fixed number of points for the battle.
As you say it is bad sportsmanship and yes nothing can be done about it, but when a person quits from a competition game are they just quitting that game for that round or are they qutting the whole competition.
I am not saying they should be disqualified or anything like that but there should be a big down side to doing such a thing. Apart from the fact they probably wont win anything on that day.
And they should know this before play is due to commence.

Just my Opinion.
I say if you quit, you quit the whole tournament. As a Warlord, how could you let someone quit a round and then come back in another round. It would just be open to tremendous abuse. I would say that you could conceed a round, giving your opponent the victory and max points, but if you quit, you're OUT.
If you quit your out. this I agree should be the rule but this should be made clear from the start. And your opponent should be given maximum the pts or result.
OK how did Dumpster510 not get the maximum result after his opponent quit. and thus giving him a better chance at the LE he was aiming for.
Isn't there already a rule stating that if you quit a game, you quit a tournament? Thats how our warlord has been ruleing it since I started playing a year ago.
How did you kill the guy in 3 turns? Used a Destroyer? Anyways, if you did so well in the first tournament, you are probly good enough to win one of the other 3.:)
something similar happened to me in week 4 of july. My opponent played an all orc army, and 6 turns into the game, was losing badly. He forfeited the game, and since we were just playing one round, winner by points for the championship, i got second place because I didnt collect enough bridge points, even though I was given the full 1200 points for his army's death.
I beat him in three turns by using a magespawn bone golem, JF, tinker geeley, and a *** seething knight. He had a L1 jarl, L1 Joram, a *** crystal bladesman and something else i dont remember. But i was reading over the rules of the tourney again and i realized, only the order of uhlrik players were supposed to exit the dungeon with the arm, not the OoV people. And i was playing OoV. But in my opinion in the last round where my opponent forfeitted i think i would have been able to get the arm and escape with it. And my opponent was really stupid because he had 4 free actions per turn after all his heroes died and there were still 5 mage spawn tokens left. dam that guy pis sed me off!
